Solomon Heights, North Sunshine

Solomon's Heights from Avondale Heights

Solomon Heights is a large parcel of vacant land in North Sunshine.  It named after one of the area's early pioneers Michael Solomon who had a 19th century sheep station in the area.

The area is bounded by Baldwin Avenue, Munro Avenue & Vermont Avenue to the South, the Melbourne-Sydney railway line to the West and the Maribyrnong River to the North and East.

The area is undeveloped and has a few unmade roads with no services. The site has seen a court case over it's development.

It is also a significant local grassland area.
