Albion – Darlington Station (1859 – 1861)

 

Location: Sydney St, Albion.

Distance from Spencer Street Station (Southern Cross Station): – 14.08 km (8 ¾ miles). This railway station was located at the location of the existing Albion Railway Station.

 

Key Dates:

1859 – The Station Master’s house is completed and he commenced his duties.

​

1860 – Station opens as Albion - Darlington. Station Master & Gatekeeper duties combined.

​

1861 – Albion – Darlington Station closes.
