This corner was known as Deneys Corner after the menswear store on north east corner of Sun Cescent and Station Place.

The store was owned by Ernest Muller.

​

This photo was taken just before the stored was burnt down by fire in 1978.

​

A new building was built in it's place and still contain the unique curvature of the original building's outline.
