Keilor War Memorial & Cenotaph
704B Old Calder Hwy, Keilor
The Keilor War Memorial commemorates the district's veterans & nurses from WW1 & WW2.
The site has a central Cenotaph that was built in the years after the ending of WW1 and a number of memorial plaques that have been added later.
With the WW1 veterans it is difficult to know for certain who lived in Keilor and who lived in St. Albans. The family names may give an idea as the Milburns were located in the market gardens north of the township, the Andersons in Taylors Rd, St. Albans towards the Bendigo rail line and the Harricks behind the St. Augustine Church.
