Throughout the generations this site has been a popular swimming spot for the youths of Albion and Sunshine.

 

The site was located just up stream of the official Sunshine Swimming Pool (Kororoit Creek) which was also known as the big hole by former generations.

 

On it's northern banks there was a large outcrop of rocks where the youths could congregate out of site from their parents. These rocks were also used jump off and into the creek.

Unfortunately there were a number of drowning at this site.
